Jennifer G. Ward, DVM, DACVP

Prior to pursuing board certification in Anatomic Pathology, Dr. Ward practiced small animal and emergency medicine in Washington and California for 2 years. She completed a residency in anatomic pathology at the University of Florida and spent an additional year as Dermatopathology Fellow, working closely with Dr. Pamela E. Ginn in the UF dermatopathology service. She also worked as a clinical instructor, with duties in the surgical biopsy and necropsy services as well as training of residents and veterinary students. After completing boards in 2007, Dr. Ward spent a year as staff pathologist at Phoenix Central Laboratory in Everett, Washington. She left to found SpecialtyVETPATH in 2009. Her special areas of interest are dermatopathology, oncopathology, and pathology of the hepatobiliary and gastrointestinal systems.
